Vacation 2010

We drove all the way to Jekyll Island, GA for our vacation. On the way down we stopped in North Carolina for 2 nights at the Jellystone camping resort. I loved it! We went swimming a lot and visited the gem mines too. Afterwards, we finished the drive to Jekyll Island. While there, we went to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center where they help to rehabilitate the sea turtles that have been harmed by boats.

We took a lovely carriage ride around the island and learned about the history of the island. I really liked the horse!

Jekyll Island has a big playground. We spent every night there after dinner playing and running around. I loved all the different slides and steering wheels. I was sad to leave the playground each night.

We took a day trip to Savannah, GA. This was one of my mom's favorite stops on our trip. We took a bus tour and stopped at a couple of the different locations on the tour. One was a big park that had a playground and water fountain. I loved playing in the fountain while we ate lunch on the park lawn.

I had a great time on vacation!

New Kitchen Set

Today Grandma Menges came over and dropped off my cousin, Megan's old kitchen set. I am so excited to play with this wonderful play set!

Play Date with Cecelia!

Here I am with my good friend Cecelia. She is only a couple months older than I am. We spent the day together playing on my playground.

Hello Spring!

I love riding the tractor with my daddy. Although I have grown to not like the loud noises that it makes.

Columbus

This weekend we went to Columbus so my daddy could run a 5k with my mom's cousin, Kelly. We stayed at Kelly's house with her and Jenna. It was great seeing them both. After the 5k, we went to COSI. They had a great play area!

Here I am after the race. I got this wonderful soccer ball from one of the mascots that were walking around.

They had a kid's mascot run. I was signed up to participate, but it was raining in the morning when it started. I was glad the rain ended quickly so I could still get to meet a lot of the mascots!

Kalahari Weekend!

This past weekend we went to Kalahari Indoor Waterpark with my Aunt Marcy and Cousin Megan. I really wasn't sure about the water at first because it was very cold, but I got used to it after a while. One of my favorite parts of Kalahari was the Indoor playground. They had lots of fun balls that would shoot out into the sky. It was amazing!

Picnic Dinner

Today was soooo beautiful. It was about 80 degrees outside. After my mom and dad got off of work, they took me to the duck pond for dinner.

I absolutely loved the slide that was there. It was soooo much fun! I even walked up the steps to the slide all by myself and used the railing to hold onto. No more crawling up the steps for me!

My mom ordered this wonderful peanut butter, honey and banana sandwich for me! I loved it. While we were eating we saw a cat. I was so excited to see a cat that looked different than my own kitties. This one was an orange tabby. After we ate dinner he found us by the slide and wanted to play with me. Daddy wouldn't let me pet him though.

My mom brought my ball to the park for me. It was really windy at times so I had to keep ahold of it pretty well or else it would roll away from me. It was so windy that my hair was blowing everywhere! I can't believe I finally have some hair!
